In the coming weeks I will share what God is showing me for 2024. For now I want to talk about how to be rooted and grounded in truth and love.

No Spiritual survival mode for you in 2024: Beware of false prophecy & scare tactics that come through spiritual conspiracy

I saw a clip of someone who said if we don’t get a “King on the throne” in America then America is doomed.

I saw a clip say if the woke agenda gains anymore ground then you should move out of your state.

I saw a clip of someone say because of the sins of pastors who have fallen in 2023 that God is lifting his hand off of America.

I saw a clip of someone saying that God is going to judge Hollywood for Disney’s sin.

Its all crap that comes from bad theology and a terrible Biblical worldview.

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

I listened to dozens of prophetic words for 2024 and so many were focused on doomsday scenarios, they were creating an “Us versus the world” mentality which will cause you to religiously separate and have no hope. Many had the same error in them philosophically that a lot of the woke agenda has, it separates you from others challenging you to be smarter then those around you and reject everyone who doesn’t agree with you.

This isn’t new at all, and when there are a lot of problems visibly in the world, many times Christian leaders and voices end up saying: The end is nigh, or the next world war is in now, or y2k is about to happen…

Before I go to far down this path let me say a few things:
I believe we need to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
I believe in a measure of prepping and food sustainability
I believe in our right to bare arms in America
I believe that really intense political battle is going to break out and a lot of the conspiracies that are out there have come about because there is a lack of truth and people can feel it.
I believe we are headed into one of the hardest times in modern history.

Luke 12:25-26 (NIV)
“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”

That being said I also have incredible hope. Hope and 2023 showed us we should! There were a record number of baptisms in several places, the younger generation has become open to the Gospel, people are wanting to grow in their spiritual life in unprecedented ways AND people have been rejecting woke garbage in the box office, schools where presidents have had to resign, and the progressive liberal ideology has caused major companies to either bankrupt or come close (budlight, disney, others).

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

There was an all time high of intolerance versus Christians, but at the same time the Christian community keeps winning. We are growing by record numbers, we are winning court battles, we are winning the box office, there are wins all over. God is always bigger than the enemy but the enemy is more obvious.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NIV)
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”

If we disengage from culture, if we get uninvolved or become complacent in our theology because we are feeling like war is going to break out and we get into spiritual survival mode, we will not be effective.

Philippians 4:12-13 (NIV)
“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

John 16:33 (NIV)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
